You heard it right, the popular computer manufacturing company Dell has launched 4 new tablets. Two of the tablets are based on android, one is 7 inch name Dell Venue 7 and the other one is 8 inch name Dell Venue 8. The other two tablets are based on windows 8.1, venue 8 pro and the other one is venue 11 pro. Windows tablets are not in demand as compared to the android tablets so we will be discussing about the android tablets.

When it comes to Android tablets one of the best out there is the Nexus 7, it is going to be very hard for Dell to compete with the likes of the popular Nexus 7 tablet. We will obviously be comparing the 7-inch tablets as soon as we can, for now we will give you a few details about the Dell Venue 7 and 8.

Sam Burd, vice president of the Dell Personal Computing Group, stated at the launch, “The new Dell Venue tablets give customers the stellar experience they expect from us, with performance that allows them to work how they want, when they want, in a design they’ll be proud to show off and own.”

­­­­­­Both of the tablets venue 7 and venue 8 are based on Intel’s Atom dual core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz and the other clocked at 2 GHz respectively and are running android 4.2.2. Apart from that these are very low priced tablet which will surely help it standing against its competitors. Dell has also promised 4.3 and 4.4 in the near future.

Price And Availability

The Venue 7 will retail for $149.99 and the Venue 8 will be $179.99. The specs are a bit lacking, but that’s still $80 cheaper than the new Nexus 7. They will be for sale on Dell’s site October 18th. The tablets will be available in both Wi-Fi only and 4G variants.

The Dell Venue 7 and Dell Venue 8 Android-based tablets are affordable, feature-rich tablets for people who want to be constantly connected whenever and wherever they are. Both tablets have an upscale fit and finish, and are designed with longevity in mind with the right components so that customers will be just as delighted with their tablet one year from now, as they are on the day they take it out of the box.
